Fifty Shades of Grey
Maybe it’s the weather or maybe I’m inspired by my book but on this rainy day I thought “hey, I wanna wear grey!” I paired a heather grey sweater, black blazer & dark grey infinity scarf with leather leggings, combat boots & Ray Bans. Can’t wait to cozy up on this rainy night with a glass of white wine and Fifty Shades of Grey!
The boyfriend sweater
On these rainy, confusing spring days I always end up dressing as casual as possible. I love to just throw on a sweater & jeans. Yesterday, I put on my boyfriend’s striped sweater (love the patchwork detail) & paired it with wide-leg light denim jeans & a brown leather gap belt. When I left my office 8 hours later the sun was shining!? Ohhhh New York in May….
What are the CHANCEs?
I had a little time to kill & a gift card to Macy’s so on my lunch break I popped in to face the madness. In a hurry, I scanned the third floor briefly and to my surprise saw a dress I just died for within minutes! It’s bar ||| and it’s simple/light/perfect for summer. Can’t wait to put it on! I had a little Macy money left over so on my way out I stopped in cosmetics & grabbed my favorite – a classic – Chanel chance perfume! Cheers to chances!
Mango Madness
Loving the store Mango right now! I popped in after work yesterday & found the cutest dresses, shoes, bags & glasses! The look is similar to Zara & prices are comparable too but the whole world won’t know where you bought your outfit ; ) Their unique, bold prints swept me off my feet:
Hello Hamptons!
My boyfriend and I took off for the weekend to the Hamptons to see our good friend Ruthie. South Hampton is gorgeous!! Beautiful homes, quaint streets, & delightful shops & restaurants. I threw on a simple red, white & black color blocked dress with ballet flats & my W118 blazer for a classy, casual hamptoness look – take a peek:

After a friend’s birthday dinner at public in soho that went late into the night, waking up this morning wasn’t easy! I threw on my jeans from yesterday, a neon Victoria secret V-neck and nude kicks for a very, very casual Friday. Surfs up dude.

As I walk the sixties blocks of Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side I can’t help to think “this is the Rodeo drive of New York City!” The glamorous boutiques, the mid-aged women having an afternoon tea, and the poodles in outfits more expensive than mine explain it all…Luxury:
